1. Step by step of how I created my digipak.
To create my digipak I used a template from a website called
Disc Wizards, this became very useful when knowing how to
size things or how to picture the layout of the CD.
2. Firstly I had to put the title and artists name on my
digipak instead of using plain photoshop fonts I used a
site called Da Font instead. , I chose this text because it
looks edgy and that’s how i wanted my artist to
come across as.
I edited a few my pictures on a website called pic monkey
this is because it was easier to use and quicker than using
Photoshop. It also has good editing features such as teeth
whited and black and white which is what I used here. This
site was also free to use so it didn't’t affect the budget of
the video.
3. Original photo After edit
Pop stars are stereotyped to have dyed hair, bright white teeth and
airbrushed skin so I edited my artist on photoshop. The hair colour was
looking very dull so I brightened it by adding a new layer, colouring it all
in with the brush tool and then changing the opacity off it to make it
look more realistic, I used the same technique for whitening her teeth. I
also took away blemishes on the skin using the spot healing tool.
4. for the song choices I researched on googled Charli XCX’s (real
singer of my song) for inspiration for my back cover, this is so it
has conventions of real media product. I took a screen grab from
my music video as this saved time going out and taking new
photos which would be time consuming .
