The student used several media technologies throughout their coursework including Blogger to document their project process, YouTube to research other artists and find inspiration, and Final Cut Pro to edit their music video. Photoshop was used to design ancillary materials like a digipak and advertisement. MP3 players helped during filming by allowing the artist to lip sync, and still cameras captured photos for the digipak and to document the process. An animatic planned the shots for the final music video.
