2. Catalog
This project was a collaboration between myself and 2 other students. The task was to put together a catalog that would gain
the interest of not only adults but of their children as well. I was in charge of the page layout for the catalog and creating any
illustrations that were needed for the project. For the kid section, particular the Nickelodeon section, I believe that it was
a great eye catcher for not only children but their parents also. This was achieved by using elements that were recognizable
such as the flowers in SpongeBob’s section, Jimmy Neutron’s logo on his page.

4. Banner
For this project I wanted to create something that was going to be easily recognizable and tied
with me personally. The banner is a Day of The Dead for Los Angeles. Aside from making the
Virgin Mary with traditional face paint and since roses are the most common flower that is put
at loved ones graves I added 2 roses on the top corners instead of the angels. The banners were
added to say where the banner is for and what event its for.

5. Portrait
This is a portrait of the character Beetlejuice. For the creation of this portrait was done using
the Adobe Illustrator program, I wanted to do more of a painting like illustration. To do this a
variety of brushes with different opacities to give it a painting affect, some of the brushes used to
achieve this were charcoal, feather, etc. The target audience for this is mainly people who grew
up watching Beetlejuice, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Twins, etc.

6. Reader Ad Redesign
The assignment was to pick an ad from the reader or any magazine and do 2 redesigns using only black and white for both
but the use of images was to be used on only one (except for social media icons and their logo)and the other pure typography.
The reader ad was one of my favorite projects due to the fact that the color pallet was limited it allowed me to showcase my
artistic side using only black and white.

7. Game Console Redesign
For this project I decided to edit something that was old and wanted give it new life by making
it more modern with the time, by using Photoshop an old console was transformed into what
you seen in the pictures below. By changing the color scheme and making the accessories
wireless it made it futuristic target audience for this product is children but also for the adults
who grew up playing these older gaming consoles.

8. Magazine Redesign
Another fun project, I had to create a cover and table of contents for a magazine. The magazine i chose was Digital Photo Pro.
For the cover I created a double exposure image that consisted of 2 images, the model and the mountain background which
was fun putting together. The table of content has an image of the subject they are taking about, what page you can find it on,
and a brief description. I kept the background consistent between the cover and table of contents to keep the continuity.

9. Institution Advertising
The purpose for this design is to encourage younger people to get involved with the upcoming
election. Design-wise I wanted to do something that would appeal to the Millenniums generation
and would want them to participate in the voting for this year’s election.

10. Interactive Artist Promotion
The artist promotion consisted of choosing an artist and promote them by showcasing their
current or last album they released. Aside from just their latest album I also included the artist
biography, his feud with another artist, his entire discography, samples of his music and videos,
and last but not least the merchandise that is associated with the artist.

12. Interactive Guide
This is an interactive guide to choose the right Japanese tattoo get. My target audience is mainly
tattoo enthusiast and people who would want to get a Japanese tattoo to reflect themselves.
This guide includes some basic history about Japanese tattooing, along with the most common
design used and their meanings.

13. Web Design
The objective of this project was to create a web site of our choice,
so I choose Greek Mythology. The site has 41 pages total, with sections
for Titans, Gods, Heroes, Creatures, Myths, and Books they have about
Greek Mythology. Every page aside from the books and the myths has
an image of the subject being talked about and a brief description of
them and what they are known for.

14. Web Design
This is a redesign of a current site for Pizzeria Luigi. The original
web site was done using images for their content and image mapping
for any links that they may have. With this design I believe its more
organized and much more presentable for Pizzeria Luigi. Aside from
the desktop version I also created a mobile version for any hand held
devices like iPad, smart phones, etc.
