A production company assists in the main decision

Scheduling
Casting
They essentially watch over the film from idea to
completion.

have chosen and/or created and why?
This is our production company
logo that we created for our
film opening.
We created this to show the
audience who is making the
film.
We used the idea of an eye
because it is related to watching
films. Also, we used a film reel
as this also keeps with the
theme of it being a film.

4. What does a distributor do?
A distributer or distribution company, are the people
that make the copies of the finished film.
They then show the film to buyers representing the
theatres.
They then negotiate the lease and the terms of it
before they send the prints to the theatres to be
shown to the public.

5. Why you have chosen the
distribution companies you have to
release your film ?
We chose to use the distribution
company Paramount Pictures
Corporation.
We did this it is a well know,
respectable company that is ranked
as one of the largest film studios.
This means that we will therefore be
able to agree more leases and will
results in a larger profit for the film.
Also, Paramount have distributed a
range of different genre films
previously.
This means they will be suitable for
distributing our film and also that
they would be interested in our film.

6. How might your film have been
funded?
Our film could have been funded by the production
company.
This would mean that we would have help with the
decisions from a company that has made a film before
and understands more about successful film
production.
