2. What we tried to achieve with our
main product?
We aimed to make our film as
professional looking as possible.
We also aimed to produce a convention
crime thriller film set in an urban setting.
The primary purpose of our production
was to entertain our audience by
providing an intense, exacting
experience.

4. Film Poster
The poster works really well to promote the film to
potential and target audience
It shows the settings of the film and the grayscale
effect adds the urban and tension to the setting.
We used conventional font to represent the genre of
crime.
As the actors or director aren't know to audience we
used acclaim from critics to ensure audience have
some reassurance about the quality of the movie.
Most importantly the poster represents what the
movie might be about which is really important in
promoting.
5. Film Poster
The reviews we used on poster is
another convention which is used by
many independent films. Our film is also
an independent film so I think this
makes our poster somewhat
conventional of an independent film
posters.
6. Radio Trailer hyperlink
I believe this promotional material help to
give audience some expectations of what
they can see if they watch our film.
They would find out that its crime and the
robbery is main act.
We tried to get as much of the storyline into
trailer without reviling what will happen as
you don’t want audience to know how it
finishes or why.
As we carried on with using conventions I
believe the voice over was appropriate for
crime radio trailer.
7. How does our ancillary texts compare
with real advertising products?
I think our poster works really well in
promoting our film. This is a goal of real
advertising methods used by companies.
I think it has features such as critics review
which is very similar to professional posters.
I think it’s a conventional poster and contains
all the conventional info- cast, age certificate,
distributor, production company title, release
date and reviews.
Our radio trailer is a conventional radio trailer
as it uses common voiceovers and sound
effects related to this genre.
