Production company
‘JAA ENTERTAINMENT’ was the created name of of our production company. It
was made up of all our first letters of our name, combined and made into
something new. The originality of the name for our teen movie Trails and
Tribulations makes it more acceptable as it gave s more freedom to do something
new . Our film is an independent film created all by ourselves.
2. Production Co...
Even though our film may have been a low budgeted film due to the technology used. We only got to
experience using the basic equipment such as a camera, tripod and fig-rig.
The less technology we use in our film it would make an impact on the effects we could have
created(CGI); although when editing we used different effects to develop the quality of the film.
Trials and Tribulations only consisted of four characters throughout the whole film opening, whereas
films such as THOR consisted of way more actors and Hollywood stars. Due our film being a low
budget we couldn’t have big known stars in our film as it is expensive to get them to be in the film.
The quality of the film could have bee much better but from the use of equipment we used we could
afford to use expensive equipment.
3. Distribution company
As a group we came up with the idea of creating our distribution company as well as our
production company. ‘Worldwide Motion Picture’ produces less marketing and advertising
because of the limitations of technology and resources used. Our film will attract a
smaller audience because of the popularity of the the film and the different strategies to
advertise.

In addition, our film will have a limited release to the public because of reasons such as
expenses, equipment and a range of technology that could be used .
Also due to the budget of the film there will not be a ‘big’ premiere but advertised
through events such as film festivals. In fear, is an example of a low budget film which was
shown at a film festival although it included one ‘popular’ main star.
5. Positives
There are some positive effects on making a low budgeted film. By exploring
different ways makes the distributor more aware of what they could do to
advertise the film.
Inexperienced crews and actors are given the opportunity to peruse their
dream as the spotlight has been shun on them to build up a career.
By distributing and marketing online is much cheaper than using millions of
pounds to promote the film. Ways such as using sites like
YouTube, twitter, Facebook and links I which would be easier for the
audience to access.
