IMPACT OF FISCAL POLICY AND MONETARY POLICY ON THE ECONOMIC GROWTH OF NIGERIA...
Question 2
1. 2. How does your media product represent particular social
groups?
My media product is focusing on both males and females so getting the right
balance between the two is very difficult when creating a magazine so
keeping the correct colours is important so I don’t make it too masculine of
feminine. I have represent particular social groups in many different ways,
Firstly my magazine includes lots of different music genres from the charts so
immediately this is attracting a lot of different social groups who are
interested in different types of music so I will have people who are into rock
music buy my magazine and I will have people that are interested in pop
music. This then links to the fashion aspect of the magazine with different
music comes different fashion, so for different genres of music there will be
different fashion styles and this will attract more social groups who are
interested in fashion and keeping up to date with the latest styles and
copying their music celebrity idols.
Secondly I have made the layout of my publication suitable for different
social groups, the layout of my magazine doesn’t have extremely large text
with bright colours for the reason that my magazine has a certain age group
and if it did have that it would mostly attract to the younger ages. Keeping
the layout modern and sophisticated attracts mature, trendy and young
social groups.
