Photography planning
1. Photography Planning
For the main image on my front cover, I want to feature the members of
the band I created, “Alt-Sound”. There is 2 males and 1 female member,
I want them to be colour coordinated in terms of costume, to emphasise
they are part of one group. However I would like their costumes to be
fairly simple and casual. I am going to take this shot in a studio with a
plain white background. I am considering using props such as
microphones, instruments and headphones in this image. I will take a
mixture of close up shots, medium shots and long shots to see which
the best on my front cover looks.
As I am planning on my double page spread being an interview with
Holly (the female member) I will need some shots of her on her own. I
2. would like to take a shot that represents her funky and exciting
personality. I have gathered some ideas from artists such as Annie Mac
and her album covers. I will take both close ups and medium shots of
Holly to try and get the best representation.
Other images I want to include in my magazine are long shots from gigs
and festivals. I will take these at such events.
