The name of my ideal target audience is Molly Johnson.
This is an average typical name of a young girl who could
be interested in pop music.
3. Age
Molly is 10 years old.
This age has been chosen because is is in between the ages of
9-13 therefore Molly correctly fits the profile of my target
audience.
4. Gender
Molly is a female.
My example of a ideal target audience profile is a female
because my magazine is aimed at younger girls. Therefore in
order for Molly to fit the critriea she must be a female.
5. Ethnicity
Molly is white British.
I have specifically selected that Molly’ ethnicity is to be
white British because from conducting my research I learnt
that stereotypically pop music is targeted at white people.
Therefore I have followed conventions and targeted white
British people.
6. Lifestyle
Molly attends school and goes to her friends house every
Tuesday for dinner. At her friends house they usually watch
movies and play with dolls. Moreover, on the weekends
Molly visits her family and plays with her cousins who are
of similar age. She plays outside with them and tends to
make up scenarios and roles each of them can be in the
game. Sometimes Molly will have sleepovers with her
friends on the weekends but this is not a regular
occurrence. Molly’s mum and dad are married and have
been all of Molly’s life. She has one sister who is 8 and
they share a bedroom. Finally, Molly’s favorite colour is pink
and she loves Justin Bieber.
