2. My focus group has showed me that the strengths to
my magazine are my colour scheme and use of
models. This is due to my peers being able to identify
the age, gender and ethnicity of my target audience
only based on my models within the main image and
my use of colour scheme and house style. Moreover,
another strength recognised was the cost of my
magazine. When asking my peers if they believed
£1.99 was appropriate they both concluded yes and
felt it was a reasonable expense for what they
audience are receiving.
3. However, my focus group alerted me that I should
have focused my magazine on people who were
similar aged to my peers. This is because when
asking them the questions it appears hard for
them to relate due to the fact they are much older
than my target audience. Therefore if I were to do
this again I would select an older age group of
which would make it easier to evaluate with my
peers.
