The view that SharePoint is all conquering in the ECM worldis not true - 70% of “users” not using it as their primary ECM system. Only 8% have SP as their first experience of ECM – 10% smallest 5% largest. Similar with “only”.
“File-share replacement” figures more strongly than “live document management”. Internal collaboration 57% for largest, 38% for smallest.
Head of records/compliance only involved in 2% of decisions. Advisory board in 8% - hence issues over planning and strategy wrt other systems
Some respondents slightly confused with this one. 17% say amount of on-going management exceeded expectation, 25% said it was below expectation.
