Topic: UI/UX DESIGN IN AGILE PROCESS Why do we integrate design into our Agile process? As we all know, the Agile Manifesto is well-received and successfully adopted as it is today thanks to the 12 underpinning principles. While “good design” is one main reason that “enhances agility”, “Agile processes promote sustainable development”. At Axon Active, it’s important for us to do everything Agile and work with one another collaboratively in Collaboration Model. It gets people on the same page, makes everyone engage more with the product, encourages them to share more creative ideas, and gives them the flexibility they need to improve themselves. Indeed, Designers and Developers can collaborate more closely and effectively, and subsequently integrating design into Agile process will yield numerous benefits. For that reason, Scrum Breakfast Da Nang this October will be the very chance for you to learn: • How to successfully integrate design into Agile process in practice • How different Collaboration Model is from traditional model • The benefits of Collaboration Model when done correctly

Maebh Costello, Director of UX Design Labs, McKesson Building the first UX team in a global business is very exciting. But handling the resultant demand for the team's multidisciplinary skill set is challenging. I quickly realised that you cannot scale a team by hiring only. I needed to think differently. I needed to use Design Thinking to explore how might we share my team's resources with our primary users, software developers. We re-envisioned how we share our design resources. This innovation leads to the creation of cutting edge technical solutions, enabling developers to access and use the design resources in their development environments. Learn how we at McKesson's global UX design labs team used this strategy to invigorate our workflow and scale. Key Takes: Design Thinking works, don't be afraid to use it on yourself and your team. Make the most of your design resources such as Design Systems and UX Writing Style guides. Bring design resource to the users environment. Scale your UX Design team with design thinking.

Democratising UX: how to spread user research education and insights throughout your organisation With demand for UX insights within organisations outstripping the capacity of UX teams to deliver research, there is a growing need for greater UX knowledge and capability across different functions within businesses. But how do you spread user research beyond the walls of your UX research team? What is the value of everyone having access to UX insights—or having the ability to run research themselves? On 26th March, we gathered a range of speakers to share their successes, challenges and expert advice around democratising UX. Learn from a variety of different perspectives on the topic, and have the opportunity to share your own experiences with the community. In this presentation, Flixbus' Katja Borchert and Pietro Romeo talks about democratising research not by guessing, but testing and empowering others.

Many analyses of developing compelling user experiences (UX) involve a theoretical understanding of key UX principles. However in this webinar, Belatrix´s UX experts Barbara Lipinski and Bruno Vilches, will provide a practical step-by-step guide through the UX process which we use at Belatrix. We will provide a case study of how we applied this process to a product. What you will takeaway from this webinar: * The principles and fundamentals underlying UX * How to practically apply these principles to create a UX process * Case study and our key learnings from applying the UX process

Android and iPhone - a known antagonism? Prof. Dr. Kai Rannenberg, Chair of Mobile Business & Multilateral Security, University Frankfurt/Main On first sight the current market situation of mobile communication devices seems to be comparable with that of the early days of desktop computers(PCs). While Apple focuses on a closed environment, Microsoft and its operating system, Microsoft Windows was open for any hard- and software, which helped them to become market leader. Today the situation for mobile operating systems seems to be similar. The iPhone OS and especially the App Store set a lot of restrictions for parties who want to sell their software via these systems. At the same time, Android is Open Source and therefore used by various hardware providers and open for 3rd party developers without any limitations set by the system provider. So the strategy of Google as Android's driving force is in some points comparable to Microsoft's strategy from in desktop computer market. Will this open system strategy be successful in the mobile market again? The characteristics of the mobile market could ask for other strategies. Additionally, negative experiences with Google in other areas could have a negative impact on Android's acceptance. So e.g. Privacy and Security mayhave to be considered as a weak spot of Google engagement in mobile environments. This talk will discuss these and other related issues.

Ruby has a lot of standard libraries from Ruby 1.8. I promote them democratically with GitHub today via default and bundled gems. So, I'm working to extract them for Ruby 3.4 continuously and future versions. It's long journey for me. After that, some versions may suddenly happen LoadError at require when running bundle exec or bin/rails, for example matrix or net-smtp. We need to learn what's difference default/bundled gems with standard libraries. In this presentation, I will introduce what's the difficult to extract bundled gems from default gems and the details of the functionality that Ruby's require and bundle exec with default/bundled gems. You can learn how handle your issue about standard libraries.
