7. Note for Simple Past Tense
• Simple past tense
The regular ending for the past simple, for all
persons, is –ed.
Only the verb to be has two separate forms for the
past: was for the singular, were for the plural.
There are many verbs ending in –t such as learnt,
burnt, spilt, dwelt, etc.
The word ago requires the use of past tense, even if
the indicated time came almost up to the present,
e.g. They left one minute ago.
8. Note for Present Perfect Tense
• Present perfect tense
There are some indicators of time marking a past to
present event.
Preposition indicating duration, e.g. during, in,
over, since, for
Adverbials meaning past to present time, e.g. so
far, up to now, until now, up to the present
Editor's Notes
Font judul chapter lebih besar dari “chapter 6”. Cari warna font yang lebih kontras dari warna background. Tulisan chapter 6 nggak keliatan. Jangan pilih warna merah di atas merah.
Warna font credit jangan item nggak keliatan
Maksudnya ini “Present perfect tense may refer to: events in certain adverbial or adjective clauses.“ apa ya?
Hubungan gambar sama konten apa ya? Tulisan kredit nggak terbaca. Pilih warna terang diatas background gelap.
Perhatikan kapitalisasi dan punctuation. Jangan sampai lupa. Apa hubungannya gambar dengan konten?
“He didn’t go to the orchestra” juga kalimat jadi perhatikan kapitalisasi dan tanda baca juga. Kalimat yang lain juga begitu. Chek lagi.
Yang benar “Hasn’t verb 3/been” bukan “Hasn’t verb 3 / been”. Tanpa spasi sebelum dan sesudah “/”.
Font size perbesar minimal 20pt.
Kolom present perfect di merge cell biar lebih rapi.
