The document provides details on the planning and pre-production for a short horror film, including the script, storyboard, shot list, locations, equipment, music/audio, poster design, and fonts. The script and storyboard establish the plot involving a character encountering an entity in the woods. Shot lists and locations are identified to film key scenes. Equipment, extra batteries, cards, and microphones are listed. Original music will be composed for the soundtrack. Color palettes, fonts, and poster design elements are considered to represent the film's progression from light to dark themes.
3. Script Sumary.
• Although the script is short and
there is not a lot of dialogue
throughout the film, tension and
drama will be built in other aeras
other than the dialogue, which
are shown in the script. I am
happy with how it has turned
out, although there has been
many changes to many parts of
the script so it is as good as it can
possibly be.
4. Storyboard

wants to kill him
5. Storyboard

forest
Entitry
releavls
itsself to
Character,
cliffhanger
Character begs
entity to leave
him alone
The entity finds
the main
character and
tries to kill him
Character
takes a wrong
turn and gets
closer to the
entity
Character runs
away from the
invisible entity
6. Storyboard
Summary
• The storyboard is not the best as I
had to use free online software as
I don’t have the resources to scan
drawings in at home, but it gives
me a good idea of the shots I will
need to use and the number of
scenes and scripting that is
necessary later.

12. Location
Planning
Location 1
I have chosen this
location as it is local
to m, and provides a
main road and a
gravel track, both of
which are needed in
the openeing scenes
of my film, only a few
shots will be shot
here but they are
essential to my film.
13. Location
Planning
Location 2
I have chosen this
location as it is close
enough to the first
loaction, and has
several footpaths
leading to the forest
where most of my
film will be shot. Like
location one only a
few shots will be
needed at this
location but it is vital
to the film that this
location is used.
14. Location
Planning
Location 3
The third and final
location is the forest.
This is where most of
my film will be shot and
definatley the most
vital location. In
emergancies there is a
second forest that can
be used but that is very
unlikley. There is
multiple footpaths
through the forest and
is generally very quiet
which makes it ideal for
filming.
15. Equipment List
EQUIPMENT REASON
Camera 1 For filming main shots.
Camera 2 For filming secondary
shots/if there is an issue
with camera 1.
Extra SD cards For extra space when
recording.
Extra batterys For when batterys die.
Tripod To keep camera steady.
Microphone To record audio.
Boom To keep microphone
steady & out of shot.
16. Music & Audio
• The audio for me is a big part of
the film, this is why I plan on
creating the score myself in
software such as Logic Pro X and
Ableton Live 11. I have multiple
live instruments at my disposal to
do this and have a lot of
experience so it wont be difficult.
I also have a few of my own songs
that I want to use in the
soundtrack as they are fitting.
18. Colour Palletes
• Im going to use a mix of light and
dark colours on my poster, as the film
goes light to dark thematically and
visually and I want to represent that
on the poster, although the colours
here may not be what I use finally in
the end, it will be close to these.
19. Fonts
• I have a few different options for
fonts, as I can either go with a
gothic horrof style font, a large
blocky font or possibly something
in a paranormal style. Im going to
keep various options open
because the font is a big part of
the poster and it needs to look
right.
20. Fonts
• This set of fonts is probably my
personal favorite, with insomnia
being the one I will use, as it is clear
to read but it also has the horror
element to it, whereas the rest
could potentially be unreadable, and
I don’t want to risk that.
21. Fonts
• This set of fonts is my least
favorite as I don’t think they
really corrolate with the genre
and style of my film, but im still
keeping them in mind as they
may fit in somewhere on my
poster.
22. Fonts
• I like this set of fonts and I will use
them for information such as release
dates and other important bits of
information that need to be clear on
the poster. My favorite is Akira, but I
will probably use Lemon Milk as it is
clearer and easier to read overall.
