My Story Board AS media

1. Story Board
THE DAY OF RECKONING

2. Scene 1
In scene one it will show a
tracking/ close up shot while
the character is walking and
will slowly move up their body.
As the camera moves upwards
there will be smooth camera
changes to different characters
until it reaches the eyes.
This scene will use a voice over
of the main character rather
than a soundtrack which I will
include in the script of the
opening sequence.

3. Scene 2
In this scene its an extreme
close up of the main
characters eyes. When the
character appears to blink
the scene goes black.
There is a silence in this
scene to add suspense and
mystery – conventions of an
action/thriller. However
when she blinks a gun shot
will be used.

4. Scene 3
In this scene it jump cuts to
a POV/ establishing shot of
a library. The shot moves
forwards towards a
bookshelf before fading out
In this scene a soundtrack
will be included, it wont be
too fast but will be used to
create suspense

5. Scene 4
In this scene it shows a
POV shot of one of the
characters reading a note
from a book apart from the
note we will edit the scene
to appear blurred, to create
a focus on hat the note says.
The soundtrack will be
continued in this scene as
well

6. Scene 5
In this scene, its a split screen
– divided into 3. this will
allow all 3 main characters to
be seen walking into the yard
holding weapons without
doing 3 separate scenes. These
scenes will be long shots
filmed from a low angle
perspective.
We are also going to use a
voice over for this scene
possibly playing a faint
soundtrack underneath that

7. Scene 6
In this scene it shows all of the
characters in a circle talking. A
tracking shot will be used
which will go around the circle
until it reaches the main
character who will turn around
and when it meets her eyes it
will go black and a gun shot
will sound
Soundtrack will also be used
for this scene but will be the
same as the previous sound
track. The gun is then aimed
down the lens and a gun shot
will be added in post
production and the scene will
go black

8. Scene 7
In this scene it zooms
out from the close up
from the previous scene
to show the characters in
a ‘V’ shape holding there
weapons
There will be fire in the
background.
There will be dialogue in
this scene after a short
part of the soundtrack.

9. Scene 8
After the gun shot the
title of the film will be
shown followed by the
title sequence.
