To write about my journey in consciousness makes me think very deeply. I am not the type of person
who sits and spend a few minutes to write a diary. Although I believe that it will be the right thing to
do for a student in the holistic program. However, I believe this is the beauty of life that every
moment I learn a new way to make improvements in my personal life. These improvements will
carry a direct effect in my development in consciousness. Now how I can know if I had moved from
different stages in my life so far? To answer my question, I will use the Spiral Dynamics Model of
Ken Wilber.
The Spiral Dynamics Model is a system represented in levels and color code. Each level presents the
modes of thinking of the individuals in each level which it is called memes. The memes
development begins from the lowest level to the highest level. Moreover, the color code of the

Since man has looked to the heavens, he has used some form of identification to recognize the
"stars". Early man named the constellations he could see in his own ways. Even the ancient
Australian Aboriginals used stories of the stars to identify times of the year for different things, be it
song lines, migration, vegetation growth and ripening, the list goes on. The Australian Aboriginals
today still refer to the Milky Way's galactic centre and coal sack nebula, as they are seen from earth,
as the Emu; as it traverses the sky and ultimately out of visual, the song line changes and talks about

Much like climatologists looking at global warming, gather data to see what has from looking at
core samples of the permafrost, using this data to make reasonable hypotheses about what our
climate will do in the future; we, humans, want to know more about what's happening in the
universe, including confirming the assumption that life exists beyond our solar system. To do this,

constants, light. Light has a finite speed and as a result of the tyranny of distance, light can only

The Software Development Life Cycle Essay
The waterfall method is a linear, sequential, non–iterative process for software development first
mentioned by Herbert Benington in 1956. The software development life cycle (SDLC) is defined
by Ruparelia as "a conceptual framework or process that considers the structure of the stages in–
volved in the development of an application from its initial feasibility study through to its deploy–
ment in the field and maintenance (Ruparelia, 2010, p. 8).'' This method is so named "waterfall''
because the stages of the SDLC cascade down through the stages of product consideration, re–
quirements, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and review/maintenance. In the
1970s, Winston Royce built on the waterfall model to incorporate iteration and stage review. Royce's
intent was to "address the central role that the design phase plays in minimizing risks by being re–
visited several times (Ruparelia, 2010, p. 8).'' This later form of the waterfall model assumes that
continual feedback is required to ensure additional updates/improvements are implemented, and is
therefore necessitated by the requisite updates that subsequent testing phases bring to light. The
most significant difference between the original waterfall method of Benington and Royce's
modified form is the need to re–iterate and validate that no further updates/revisions are required in
