  2. 2. Primary Groups<br />These groups consist of long term relationships within a group.<br /> High levels of cohesiveness and security.<br />Form building blocks within a society.<br />Examples- family, close friends.<br />
  3. 3. Secondary Groups<br />Secondary groups are large than primary.<br />These relationships are less intimate. <br />This group also has a process of goal setting.<br />
  4. 4. Temporary Groups<br />This groups are created for a purpose.<br />Once the purpose has been filled the group will terminate.<br />
  5. 5. Permanent Groups<br />This groups are ‘permanent’. (long lasting)<br />The individuals within these groups express strong connections.<br />Also express similar interests. <br />
