2. Primary Groups These groups consist of long term relationships within a group. High levels of cohesiveness and security. Form building blocks within a society. Examples- family, close friends.
3. Secondary Groups Secondary groups are large than primary. These relationships are less intimate. This group also has a process of goal setting.
4. Temporary Groups This groups are created for a purpose. Once the purpose has been filled the group will terminate.
5. Permanent Groups This groups are ‘permanent’. (long lasting) The individuals within these groups express strong connections. Also express similar interests.
