INTRODUCTION
In recent years, the world has witnessed an explosion of tourism activities
around the globe. Tourism has become a key economic sectorof many countries and
tourism economy has contributed significantly to the development of the world
economy.
From the perspective of a tourism trader: Tourism is understood as the
production, sale and delivery of services and goods to customers in order to ensure
their travel, accommodation, meals, entertainment and information for economic
benefits. In Vietnam, the concept of tourism is stated in the tourism ordinance as
follows: “Tourism is the activity of people outside their regular place of residence in
order to satisfy the need for entertainment and relaxation in a certain distance and
time”.
“Tourism development as a key economic sector”is the strategic viewpoint and
orientation of the Party and State of Vietnam, contributing to promoting economic
development towards modernity, improving the material and spiritual life of the
people. Tourism development has solved the relationship between economic growth
and social stability, environmental protection, social security is guaranteed,
contributing to the conservation and promotion of cultural values, keeping national
security and order.

- DAN LOC Travel & Services Co., Ltd. was established in 2014 with goals
such as: to be a tourism company representing Korean travel company
(다낭보물창고) in Da Nang. The Company was stablished with the goal of
exploiting travel services as well as providing customers with additional services to
profit.
- Target market: Inbound tourists; Korean tourists
- Type of tourist service: Sea tourism; cultural and historical tourism; Free
tourism.

3. Functions and tasks of each division
a. Director:
- The current director is Mr. Tran Van Dan who directly manages and leads the
company. In addition, the director also sets out business programs and strategies.
- The departments must cooperate with each other to accomplish the goals set.
Management method is in accordancewith online method. The director manages all
operations of the company with a timely adjustment plan and the functional
departments are subject to online instruction from the director.
- This management relationship has a view that the organization of information
is compact and smooth; the path of information is short so the information
discrepancy is not large in line with the regime of a leader. Duties are defined
according to the principle of democratic centralism in management.
b. Managementdepartment
- Answer calls; man telephones at the Management department.
- Book all services and supervise the services of partners and suppliers.
- Transport services: price, departure time, airport, station, destination and
support services for all common transport vehicles including aircraft, trains, ships,
etc.
- Operate, supervise and arrange drivers for tours.
- Solve violations of drivers, tour guides.

- Resolve inquiries, complaints of agents, customers, suppliers.
- Operate daily tours.
- Reportdaily works to superiors, etc.
- Establish good relationships with suppliers in the market and understand
applicable information about a series of important services contributing to a tour.
c. SalesDepartment
- This department plays an important role in the business activities of the
company. The Sales Department has the function of researching the market, setting
up business strategies, making strategies and spreading tourist attraction to the
company.
- Expand and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, local
authorities in destinations that the company is exploiting in its tourism programs..
- Sell tourism programs as well as other products to tourist groups.
- The Sales Department also has to research, build and develop new products,
advise the Director on market expansion and exploitation of new types of business.
- Coordinate with the Management department, develop tourism programs from
content to price in accordance with the needs of customers, take the initiative in
launching new products for the company.
- Sign contracts with foreign tourism firms and companies, domestic and
foreign individuals.
d. Tour guide department
- Organize mobilization to arrange guides for tourism programs.
- Be a bridge between service suppliers and customers, providing customers
with guaranteed services.
- Be a direct representative of the company in direct contact with customers,
serve customers during the tourism program process.

- Handles questions, complaints of customers and situations arising during the
trip.
- Considered as performers of the company's tourism program, after selling
tours by sellers, services reserved by executive office staffs, tour guides are the ones
who directly perform the program. The tour guides are responsible for taking guests
on tour, introducing guests about historical and cultural values at destinations,
ensuring and taking responsibility for the performance of the program and safety for
tourists during the trip. Guides are also representatives of the company with guests;
therefore the image of a tour guide is very important.
e. Accounting Department
- To organize the implementation of financial and accounting works of the
company. Record track of expenses of the company;
- Implement periodic reporting regime, promptly reflecting changes for leaders
to take prompt measures to handle.
- Implement financial statistics and planning of the company and monthly
prepare corporateincome reports for the company. Monitor and report on the use of
capital and assets of the company.
f. Transport Department
Provide transportation services necessary to help guests move from one place
to another, country to another while traveling..
