With this first image, I manipulated in a similar way to which I
manipulated my main image on my front cover. The reason I did this
was to keep that idea of the main image being the main driver for the
magazine. Again, I also believe it puts more focus on the person in the
image.
The image on the right is the same person who was on my main
image. But again. I have completely taken out the background by using
the magic wand tool. This was because I felt that firstly, the
background made the image look messy and unprofessional but also,
it had no relevance to the actual article which may of made it
confusing for the audience.
For this final screenshot, in the bottom left hand corner, I didn’t
manipulate this image at all. The main reason for this is that I felt that
the background in this image was relevant to the image as the lighting
was perfect as well as the models fitting in with the environment. The
only thing that I really did was add a border which was mainly to
emphasise the image, but I did this for all the images.

At this point, I added the page
numbers onto the actual
images as the images are one
of the very first things that
they’ll look at. This also
means that it will be easy for
them to navigate around my
magazine.
This is where I started to introduce the text into the
article. What I did was use one font to introduce what the
page would be on then one font to show the explanation
of the page. I did this to make it easier for my target
audience to understand what each page represented and
what each one offered in terms of content.

4. This shows the final product. As you can see I also added in some social
media links to add to the modern aspect of the magazine.
