time on a weekend or who have the opportunity
to listen at work.

provide the audience clearly with the required
information.
Sound effects?
(SFX)
Not an enormous amount of sound effects except
for a bell ringing twice in a short space of time
when one of the shows are being advertised.
Wildtrack/ambient sound? There is consistent background music throughout
the piece along with the SFX of the bell ringing
which link in with what the presenter is saying
and because they aren’t obvious, it makes it easier
to listen to the presenter.
Use of music? There is consistent background music that fades
in and out depending on when and for how long
the presenter is talking for.
How many tracks? There are 5 tracks overall, 1 for the advertiser, 1
for a voice-over, 1 for background music, 1 for
the “bell ringing” special effect and 1 for clips
from the shows they are advertising over the
weekend.
Sound levels? The presenters voice who is advertising the
weekend schedule is always the loudest along
with the cutaways to the shows that he talks
about.
Length? Takes his time in order for the audience to
remember details he’s providing, wants the
audience to remember who is on the station, what
it is called and when it is being shown. Overall,
33 seconds.
