2. - When I carried out my research the most popular name that
my target audience said was ‘Pop it’ so that is the masthead
that I decided to use because it is more popular and I know it
will attract my target audience.
- The price that I decided to make my magazine was £2.75 I
made it this price because it is not cheap, yet not too
expensive for 18-25 year olds that would want to buy it. When
conducting my research that’s the price my target audience
said that they would be willing to pay.
- The slogan that I used on my magazine was ‘you cant stop the
beat’, I used this because it sounds fun and catchy. As well as
this it also fits well into the pop genre and it will help to
attract my target audience.
- I used a formal tone when creating my magazine so that it
looks sophisticated and helps to attract my target audience as
they are of an older age range.
3. The coverlines that I used on my magazine are ‘the
10 best artists of 2016’, ‘little mix new hit’, ‘your
instant dance floor fillers’ and ‘5 top tips for a DIY
album cover’. I used these coverlines because when
conducting my research they were the most
popular ones from my target audience. As well as
this, I also added a few coverlines that I thought
would attract my target audience. I also included a
puff which says ‘win A.M.I tickets!’, I have done this
as it will give my target audience more of a reason
to buy the magazine because they can win tickets to
one of their favourite artists.
4. I used some of the photos which I showed
to my target audience in my research and
planning. I used the ones that they said
that they liked the most, I did this because
I knew that they would attract my target
audience and they would be more likely to
buy it.
5. The article that I decided to use was ‘A.M.I on
her rise in the charts’. I used this because I know
from my research that my target audience
wanted to see an interview with an artist. I also
used this because I think it will attract more
people as they are likely to want to know about
the artists life so are more likely to buy the
magazine.
