2. I attracted/addressed my audience in many different ways. Firstly, I did this by making my pictures all have the same misc-en-scene as my magazine. I created a questionnaire which I used to ensure that my magazine was what my target audience wanted otherwise, they would not buy it if it went in to publication. I also had Kerrang! Magazine as a guide to help my magazine look like a real and popular music magazine.
3. Secondly, I had tom making eye contact with the camera because it would make the reader feel a part of the magazine, this is called direct address. I also put him on a plain blue gradient background. This made the focus more on tom and it also would draw in the reader. Moreover, I used a large font for my title because it would make it more eye-catching, I also had my title and coverlines in white because when they are against a blue background and this will make them more eye-catching.
4. I included a competition on my front cover to win tickets to a rock concert, this would attract my audience as it is likely to be for a band that they like and the tickets would be free. Also my coverlines are all about very well known and popular bands and artists so this would attract the reader too. The colours I used within my magazine were all the most popular colours that my target audience in my questionnaire said were their favourite colours. This would make the magazine look more attractive to my target audience.
5. I made my magazine a price that my target audience said would be the most they would pay for a music magazine. They mostly said that the most they would be willing to pay would be £2 - £3 so I made my magazine £2.50 as I thought this would be a more attractive price.
