1. Research and planning and
Evaluation and production:
HERE ARE THE THINGS WE USED TO PLAN, RESEARCH AND CREATE OUR TEASER
TRAILER.
2. Planning and research
YouTube: We used YouTube to help search for past teaser trailer, as on
YouTube there is a huge range of trailers of any genre. We could also use
YouTube to help us get feedback as we uploaded our rough cut and final
teaser there.
SlideShare helped us to create and upload our work so that we could put it
into our journals and so it was easy to access for all of us. Slide share also
has a range of other power points created by other people that helped us
research.
Prezi also helped us to present our research and work that we had created. I
used it to create a slide on the genre conventions of a psychological thriller.
SurveyMonkey: Here we could create and get our own information that
helped us research and develop our teaser trailer, we could create surveys
and get our friends our class mates to complete them. We used survey
monkey to get information on target audience.
3. Evaluation and Production:
Final Cut Pro: This is what we sued to create the teaser
trailer, we edited the shot and placed it all together in
final cut, everyone of u used final cut as we all took
turns in editing the teaser trailer.
Adobe Illustrator: I used this to add the text and font
onto the poster and magazine and also make small
changes to the image and layout.
Photoshop: I used photoshop to create the ident and
also to edited and lay together the images used for the
magazine and poster.
Canon: we used the canon 80D to film and take photos.
4. Purple Planet Music: This helped us look at different ambient sounds
that we could have used.
Free Sound: We also used free sound to find free sound clips that we
could use in our trailer, Zak also used his phone to record sound for
the trailer. (freesound.org)
When using all the different platforms we had not used all of them and
had to learn how to use them but we all helped each other to understand
how to use each platform. We also created a OneDrive document for all
of us to upload the work we had done onto so that all of us could
accesses the work.
