Request of Elizabeth Haynes, Architect, of Elizabeth Haynes Architecture, applicant,
representing Nic Abbey, owner, for the compatibility review of the proposed design
located at 237 Abiso in order to construct a new single-family residence with detached
garage.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The property is zoned SF-B and is located on Abiso Avenue between Arbutus Street and Townsend
Ave. Both the Architectural Review Board and City Council approved the demolition of the
existing structure that occupied what is now 237 and 239 Abiso in late 2020.
