Public hearing, consideration, and action regarding a request to replat the properties
currently known as 217 and 225 Oakview E, identified as CB 5011, BLK 20, LOT 18
and CB 5011, BLK 20, LOT 19.

SUMMARY
The current property owner is seeking to incorporate into 217 Oakview E (vacant Lot 18) and 225
Oakview E. (improved Lot 19) into one property identified as 225 Oakview E.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The properties are located on the north side of Oakview E between Vanderhoeven and N. New
Braunfels, and are zoned SF-A. Both lots are owned by the applicant. In 2018, a new single-
family structure was built on 225 Oakview E. City Council approved the demolition of the
structure located at 217 Oakview E in November of 2018. The applicant intends on using 217
Oakview E as a side yard.
POLICY ANALYSIS
CPS, SAWS, and Public Works have given approval of the proposed replat in their evaluation of
the potential impact on utilities. Utility easements have been established.
The proposed replat meets all the technical requirements of Chapter 17 of the Subdivision Code.
The Planning & Zoning commission reviewed the case at their April 5th
regular meeting and
recommended approval of the request as submitted.
2. FISCAL IMPACT
No projected fiscal impact from this project has been calculated.

In accordance with order of the Office of the Governor issued March 16, 2020, where he temporary
suspended certain provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act, take notice that a regular meeting scheduled
at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 05, 2021 will be conducted by telephone conference in order to advance
the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called “social distancing”), to slow the spread
of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), to consider and act upon any lawful subjects which may come before it.
Citizens/Board members and staff will enter City Hall by the rear entrance adjacent to the parking
lot to be screened prior to entrance. Attendees must wear a facial covering (mask), practice social
distancing, and seating will be limited to capacity limits.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR TELECONFERENCE: The public toll-free dial-in number to participate in

Public hearing, consideration, and action will take place on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 5:30pm regarding
a request to replat the properties currently known as 217 and 225 Oakview E, identified as CB 5011, BLK
20, LOT 18 and CB 5011, BLK 20, LOT 19.
The City Council of the City of Alamo Heights will conduct a public hearing on Monday, April 12, 2021
at 5:30pm relating to the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission regarding the same
issues.

maintaining the facilities as planned.
