I want my game to
be a combination of
storytelling and
action game.
To do this I will have it set out
like a Mario game (side view)
so that its easier to see
characters and obstacles
I think the storyline for the
teenagers could be that they
are running a school newspaper
but don’t have anything
interesting to write about. So
they decide to adventure out
and try to discover unusual
things about their city
I think because the game
will look pixilated the
sound need to match that
visual.
I want to have a retro sounding game.
At the same time I want it to sound
spooky.
they should all start out being
together in the haunted house, then
decide to split up.
I want to include the starting pages/option
pages. It should say things like multiplayer or
ingle player.
Having a title page would also fit the game nicely
Selection and fighting sounds need to be clear
and shouldn't’t blend in with the background
music
I need way for the teenagers to defeat the paranormal
monsters/ghosts. Because they are teenagers they
would’t have access to cool weapons. So I was thinking
they could use things like jar where they can capture
the ghosts In. then when they reach the boss they
need to enchant a spell to defeat it. To do this the
players have to match the arrow keys on the screen.

This game is a simple dancing game where the player has to his
the right arrow key shown on the screen to win/ get points.

7. Mood Board Analysis
I found that in my mood board bold bright colours are repeated a
lot, as well as dance poses and graffiti type text. The mood of my
mood board is very energetic and colourful.
My mood board will help to influence me when designing
characters, since i will be able to see what type of outfits hip hop
dances typically wear.. The mood board has given me more ideas
on how I can lay out my video game, for instance the arrow keys
being at the top look really good.
Having the mood board will also help me to remember what
exactly I want my game to be like. Having a visual guide really
helps to make the final product one out the way you want it to.
