March 2014 to present, Denne Construction,Site Secretary/Administrator
This is a long temporary contract fur the duration of the project. My duties entail:-
 Reception duties
 First point of contact for all visitors, offering refreshments to visitors
 Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed for all visitors
 Liaising with all site personnel, contractors, foremen. Sub-contractors, Project Managers,Site Managers etc
 Responsible for all site admin.
 Post duties
 Document control - Filing away of all drawings for site and making sure that the latest revisions are available
 Organising lunches and refreshments for meetings as and when required through onsite canteen facilities
 Word, Excel & Outlook
 Formatting documentation, and letter writing.
 Arranging site meetings
September 2013 – February 2014
This was a temporary contract for Kent County Council as a minute taker with Social Services. My duties involve:-
 Co-ordinating all Child Protection meetings
 Preparing the documentation and circulating to all necessary parties
 Checking attendees and apologies for the meeting
 Taking minutes of complex Child Protection meetings
 Drafting the Child Protection Plan for circulation
 Adding the Plans to the individual child data base as well as linked siblings
 Distributing completed Plans and minutes
In the New Year I was transferred to Mental Health within Kent County Council for vulnerable adults.

This was a varied role where I spent the majority of your time with PA duties and the rest with HR administration or cross
functional support.
 Provide secretarialsupport to the Executive Director and department managers
 Organising and attending H & S meetings
 Processing all individual contracts and changes

This was a temporary sickness contract within St Edmund’s School, Canterbury within the school office. My duties
entailed:-
 First port of call for all parent enquiries to Pre-Prep,Junior School and Senior School Staff, and then filtering
them to the relevant departments.
 Dealing with incoming and outgoing post, ie distribution and preparation for collection in the afternoon
 Taking credit card, cash and cheque payments coming into the school.

April 2011 – May 2012 PA for the London College ofBeauty Therapy in London to the Head ofTeaching and
Learning
This was a maternity contract within the college. My main duties consisted of the following:-
 Preparing Agendas and taking minutes of all departmental meetings.
 Attending Student/Lecturer meeting and minuting for college records
 Organising and overseeing the smooth running of the Annual Student of the Year Awards
 Diary management for the Deputy Head of the Teaching & Learning Department
 Assisting the college QA with various adhoc duties as and when necessary
 Ensuring that all student correspondence is sent out on a daily basis. These are letters that are electronically
generated but sent out manually.
 Dealing with student enquiries and parent enquiries on a daily basis
 First port of call for all incoming calls to the Teaching & Learning Department
 Arranging meetings with students and lecturers (diary management)
 Maintaining student records
 Maintaining the filing system for the Deputy Head of Department
 Assisting the four Programme Managers with administrative tasks and aiding where necessary
 Dealing with all students coming through the department
 Departmental petty cash float and balancing at the end of each week
 Stepping in and covering CEO meeting whenever CEO’s secretary is on leave.
June 2009 to April 2011 – Various positions in and around the hospitals ofAshford, Canterbury and NHS offices
at Ross House, Folkestone
This was initially a maternity contract for the HIS of Kent & Medway NHS Trust, and then went on to fill various
positions within the Trust. My duties entailed:-
 Secretarialsupport to the Senior Management Team consisting of 8 members
 Secretarialsupport to the Clinical/Pathology Director during the afternoons
 Preparation and distribution of the Pathology Quarterly Report to the Hospital Board of Directors
 Setting up and co-ordinating monthly meetings
 Taking minutes of the monthly Senior Management Team meeting
 Meeting and greeting all incoming visitors
 Being first port of call for all incoming calls
 Maintaining the filing system for all HR related issues
 Maintaining the electronic filing system within the department
 Preparing monthly absence/holiday returns for Head Office. These have to be there on a specific date in order for
any overtime due to be paid.
