My name is Willy Wijaya from
Indonesia. I’m studying Food
Production Management at
Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata
Bandung and Travel Tourism and
Hospitality at Shelton
International College.
After 2 months studied at
Shelton, I was attached at
Furama Riverfront Hotel and
have been trained in kitchen
industry (Square Kitchen). The
Restaurant has both a’la carte
and buffet service. I’ve been
placed at show kitchen which is
to serve all kind of egg in the
morning, carving and noodle
station for lunch and dinner. My
supervisor and my manager took
great care of me even though
they’re busy.
Quality of teaching at Shelton
College is good as the teacher
always make it a point to reach
out to all the student and take
care of us which make it easier
for the students to excel.
Before my internship, Shelton
have been preparing my
interview and help me to get a
good result, Shelton also have
Monthly Report that help them
to check what was being taught
during the internship and about
my own feeling towards the
internship too. At the same time,
the comment from the
immediate supervisor and the
manager can help us to further
improve ourselves on our
weakness too.
Shelton has already given us a
good service and takes great care
of us.
After finishing my attachment, I
will continue my study in Sekolah
Tinggi Pariwisata Bandung for 1
more year.
For fellow students,” I shall pass
through this path but it’s only
once, anything for good I will do
it now, for I shall not pass
through this path again” if there
