1. Lyric Breakdown
The lyrics in the song do not totally match the
concept of our video but there is a connection
that the audience could spot if they look hard
enough. The connection is not obvious because
of the style of the genre and how the bands in the
genre present their ideas and points to their
audience.
The narrative part of the video is a time lapse
over one day that starts off with a sunrise,
travels on throughout the day capturing the
weather, the nature and the movement of the
landscape. The narrative will come to a close
when the sunsets and it becomes dark, which
will be part of the final scene of the music video.
Throughout the narrative there will be a live
performance of the band, which will be filmed in
the studio within college. The performance will
come in when the lyrics of the song are
particularly important to the narrative, so that
the audience can see them singing it then cut to a
narrative of what they are singing about. An
example of this is when the lyrics says“The
moment that you want is coming
If you give it time”, this will correspond with the
very beginnings of the sun rise.
Overall the lyrics will be represented with a
narrative of natural image that has no literal
meaning but the audience have to give it some
thought to understand the meaning.
Under a sky, no one sees
Waiting
Watching it happening
Don't hurry
Give it time
Things are the way they have to be.
Slow down. Give it time.
Still life
You know I am listening
The moment that you want is coming
If you give it time
When you wake up!
When you wake up!
You will find me
When you wake up!
When you wake up!
You will find me
Under a sky.
No one else sees.
You're sure.
Appears in front of me
The sky clears
The sun hits
I am here. Waiting. It's happening
The moment that you want is coming
If you give it time
When you wake up!
When you wake up!
You will find me
When you wake up!
When you wake up!
You will find me
