11. What this tells us
The profile the site gives us indicates that the audience for Classic Rock Magazine is far older than the intended
audience of my own magazine. With the age ranging between 40-54 years old, it is obvious that by following the style
and conventions of this magazine I will fail in reaching out to my intended audience of teenagers and young adults.
Other areas of the profile like the amount of time spent online could also be important when considering my intended
audience, as teenagers and young adults spent a large amount of their day online it would be appropriate to mention
online features or to let the potential reader interact with the magazine, for example question and answer sessions
using questions submitted via Twitter using a special hashtag.
