• Age between 20-35. An older audience could also like this
magazine.
• Lower/working class rather than middle class.
• Males will most likely read this more than females. However, this
particular front cover image could be targeted at women more so
than men.

• The black audience will most likely be attracted to this magazine
compared to the white population.
• Most likely they will smoke weed.
• Targeted at the deurbanised population rather than urbanised
area.

3. Male in his mid-late 20s. Jamaican orientated.
Most likely smoke weed.
They would shop in trending, but bold clothing shops. They
would want to wear bright colours, that attracted
attention. They would always wear a hat with their
dreadlocks sometimes hanging down. Most would wear
jewellery with a religious symbol. Most Jamaicans are
Christians, therefore would want to wear the cross
symbol.
They would mainly listen to reggae music. They
might occasionally listen to R&B as well, but
reggae is their go-to genre. They would also
most likely play a lot of reggae music
themselves.
Their favourite tv show would be like
Fresh Prince of bel air. These types of
people would prefer to watch a comedy
sitcom rather than a tv drama.
The food that they would most likely
eat would be peri peri chicken, or
meat with a lot of spice on.
4. My target audience would subscribe to my magazine because it is Jamaican orientated. The origin of
reggae music is Jamaica, therefore most, if not all, of my target audience would be primarily Jamaican.
The colour scheme is the Rasta colours, which would attract my target audience, as well as the main
cover image.
