2. Primary audience
• The primary audience is teenagers. This is because the film is about a
young teenager who is being abused by his father and his battle with
the abuse and how he gets through it. This is a situation that many
young people go through and so the film appeals to a lot of people
who suffer from abuse or are interested about it. Young people will
be able to take things from it such as his to cope with it and deal with
the abuse, as well as how to help someone who is suffering.
3. Secondary audience
• The secondary audience is adults, as the father represents this age
bracket. Adults may want to see what younger people go through in
terms of abuse and how they can help prevent it and stop it if they
see it happening. It will also show how drugs and alcohol can lead to
abuse of family members
4. Social class
• The family in the film represent a lower social class. They are from a
poor background and the child has been surrounded by drugs and
alcohol all his life, having a rough upbringing. People of this social
class may find the film good as it gives exposure the problem.
However it could give middle and upper class people an interesting
insight of people from different background than them.
