1. Desktop/Laptop Support Responsibilities:
Provided a high level of support for all aspects of the end user computing experience
Built, imaged, and deployed all desktops and laptops for users
Repaired and investigated any software or hardware issues as they arose
Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation
software and networking software products
Planned, coordinated, and implemented annual tech refresh for end user computing
devices
Work within a monthly budget by submitting quotes and purchase orders to replace
all technology related items
Maintained an accurate PC inventory of all hardware and software assets
Retired and decommissioned all information technology equipment including
securely wiping any device with a hard disk drive
Set-up, reset, and deleted Active Directory user and PC accounts as necessary
Diagnosed issues with user account group policies, group memberships, and login
scripts and drive mappings
Installed, configured, and maintained all local and network printers
Configured, maintained, and installed all warehouse devices such as barcode
scanner, label printers, etc.
Server Support Responsibilities:
Performed server hardware maintenance as described by centralized server teams
and change management rules
Replaced failed hardware as needed, memory, drives, and power supplies
Installed severs into racks and fully cabled for full functionality and removed from
racks as servers were retired
Network Support Responsibilities
Installed new network ports as necessary requiring termination and creating wall
jacks
Replaced failed switches, switch blades and switch chassis
Diagnosed and investigated DHCP, DNS, and PoE issues related to local area
networks and wide area networks
Assisted in wireless network maintenance and access for user workstations,
handheld devices and tablet PC’s

Purchased and set-up new multimedia training center
2. Installed several report screens located throughout the plant to increase
communication
Rewired the entire plant to increase network performance
Purchased and installed new HP servers with VMWare ESXi to run all server
applications
Worked on replacing our old Intermec wireless systemwith Cisco wireless access
points and controller
Worked on replacing our old PBX system with Cisco VOIP which includes purchasing
new switches and coordinating new cat5e cable runs throughout the plant with
contractor
