2. • In this shot the clock is positioned in the middle of the shot to show the audience
that this is very important. The white clock symbolises time and how it goes so
quickly.
• They have put the clock on a black background to show that with out time there is
nothing, you can tell this by black is associated with emptness.
• They have made the title very small compared to the clock, they have done this to
make sure that the audience are paying more attention to the clock then the title
next to it.
3. • In this shot they have change for the clock to person wearing a clock, by doing this it
makes the audience stop thinking about the colour black and what it symbolises to this
person holding on to a rope.
• This introduces the fact that there is more than one genre to this film, they have
introduced action and make the audience think what is going to happen to this person
holding on to the rope.
• Again in this shot they have made the title very small compared to the main picture, so
to make sure that they do not draw the audience away from the main part of the shot.
4. • In this shot they have introduced the main aspect to the film the DeLorean which
attracts the audience to the car.
• Also can see the car is going the right way as it is going left to right but you can see from
the next shot that it is going the other way.
• So in this shot it show that they are in normal time and are not going back to the future.
5. • Also you can see the car is going the right way as it is going left to right in the other
shot but you can see from the shot that it is going the other way.
• This shows that they are going back to the future so to link back to the title.
