2. Who was initially
chosen
After research and planning it was clear that a large
distribution and production company were needed, this is
mainly so it is possible to create expensive special effects, it
would also be necessary that both companies will be accessible
in the UK.
I decided to choose Summit entertainment for production, since
they are based in the UK. This decision was mainly influenced
by the fact that summit entertainment have produced big titles
such as ‘The Bourne Ultimatum’.
I also have chosen momentum pictures who will be the main
company to distribute the production, mainly because they are
based in the UK and also Momentum Pictures have won the
most BAFTA awards out of all the distributors in the UK
3. Marketing
The marketing campaign for my production would
consist of Print, Broadcast and Media. My production
would have an official poster which would create
enigma, as the poster would not give much detail
away, only consist of a simply picture, and a title.
My production would also consist of a teaser trailer and
an official trailer.
E – Media: There would be an official website for the
production, which links all other marketing strategies.
There would also be links to hidden details about the
film, and there would also be social networking which is
featured on the website. Such as twitter and facebook.
