Earth & Fire – Memories
This is a classic type of a performative music video. Throughout the footage the
audience sees the artist performing their song to the camera. The performers’
are dressed in classical 70’s attire. They have on brightly coloured clothing. Both
the woman and men in this brand have long hair. This suggest the era of the
video and it shows the audience the type of trends and styles that were popular
in the 70’s. This music video supports the Andrew dyers theory suggest that the
music industry creates idols based on what they personally will appeal to their
target audience. Then the trends and styles of their target audience will change
in order to match the music group.
Mise en scene and lighting
The music video is set in what appears to be a hall. The room is dark and has key
lighting focusing on the band mates. The key lighting is orange this colour is
