National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD), Atlanta GA 2007 - Current
The NACDD is a national professional association which represents the 50 States and US Jurisdictions Chronic Disease
Directors within the state and territorial Departments of Health. NACDD has over 3,000 members and a budget of over
$7,500,000 a year. NACDD has a staff of 27 Atlanta based health professionals and health expert consultants located
around the United States and the US territories.
MANAGER OF OPERATIONS (2011-Current)
ASSISTANT MANAGER OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE (2008-2011)
PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAM ASSISTANT (2007-2008)
• Supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) in daily office functions
• Manages business operation functions including:
o Facilitates maintenance and support of NACDD information technology systems including coordination of
IT audit
o Manages operation and maintenance of office equipment, maintain appropriate quantities of business
supplies and maintain cost records and supply sources for all business supplies
o Liaison between NACDD and the Highwoods Properties regarding managing the office space

o Prepares and manages over 260 contracts with state agencies and independent vendors and contractors,
amounting to over $6 million dollars a year
o Manages database of all contracts and grants for the Association
o Assists with preparation and submission of cooperative agreement and grants for continuous funding
o Coordinates with the Director of Finance and Operations to prepare the monthly and year-end financial
close
o Coordinates with the Director of Finance and Operations to achieve the independent audit by preparing
assigned audit schedules and other information as requested
o Coordinates with the Director of Finance and Operations the budget process and preparation
o Manages operational budget of 1.6 million dollars
o Prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents

o Completes and processes HR documentation for new hires and termination of employees
