In April 2005, I was personally contacted by the Asst. Director requesting my return to the Unit, due to my
expertise and knowledge with the Volunteer Program.

Perform and assist with various administrative duties within the CLEPP/Volunteer Program as assigned by
the Director and/or Assistant Director consisting of 5000 volunteers who support the communities of 24
Sheriff Stations and 20 specialized unit/bureaus. (Note: only three permanent items are assigned/budgeted
to the Volunteer Program annually; one - Asst. Director, one - Secretary V and one - ITC). Assist with
establishing and ensuring compliance of Volunteer Program policies and procedures. Involved in the
day-to-day operations of the Volunteer Program and have daily interactions with Department executives,
County executives and community members, as well as City/County officials regarding the coordination of
department approved volunteer training and/or community oriented policing programs. Research, analyze

In 2006, I personally designed the new Volunteer ID template and produced the new photo identification
cards for approximately 4900 volunteers. Assisted with the “Code 7 Cookbook” for the Volunteer
Association (LASDVA) which would provide funds for volunteer training and safety equipment.

On September 18, 1994, I was assigned as a secretary to the Crime Analysis Unit. I was trained on the
Leader Crime Analysis VAX System and was instrumental in reducing the backlog of several years of past
due reports and bookings. Sort, log, and data entry of all incoming reports on a daily basis. Run random
searches, regarding crimes, addresses and suspects upon request from detectives. Assist the Crime
Analyst in collecting information and statistical data to prepare reports and miscellaneous documents.

include: Maintaining time records for 220 employees. Review In-Service Sheets, overtime slips, and
absence request for accuracy and verifying that required signatures are included. Posting variances,
attendance, and overtime to employee time cards. Entering all transactions, updating work patterns and
make various adjustments into CWTAPPS. Review incoming reports,
(i.e. Overtime Activity, Unit Commander Log, Leave Balance, etc.) to ensure correct pay to all employees.
Balance time cards at the end of each month and verify balances from CWTAPPS. Assist Operations in
