Roles Responsibilities
1. Ensure rooms,
corridors and
public area are
clean and tidy
• Clean assigned rooms, corridors & public areas and restock
necessary room amenities
• Conduct turndown services
• Inspect general conditions of rooms, corridors & public areas,
and communicate defects to engineering for follow-up
• Maintain sufficient inventory mini-bar, operating equipment
supplies, furniture, cleaning chemicals, cleaning machines
and guest amenities by ordering weekly
• Organize and restock cart at the end of the shift
• Ensure flowers and plants are maintained and changed
according to set hotel standards
• Report to Style director on room status and for inspection
• Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
• Follow all company safety and security procedures
2. Coordinate with
Welcome desk
• Take note of VIP arrivals and ensure rooms are ready
• Runners assist guest requests (E.g. rollaway bed)
• Handle and follow up on matters pertaining to Lost & Found
2. FINANCE
Roles Responsibilities
1. Manage
account
payables &
receivables
• Closely scrutinize funds transfer and cash
disbursement protocols within the organization (E.g.
complimentary carpark coupons)
• Monitor procurement
• Providing financial support, advice and expertise to the
hotel team with the aim of maximizing value
• Review daily cashiering reports to verify accuracy
• Communicate to other departments to verify billing
settlements
2. Monitor
compliance
throughout the
organization
• Assist the accounting department with financial
information and forms for tax compliance needs
• Managing the accounting records and financial reports,
providing an effective control, developing best practice
financial accounting and control procedures
3. Monitor and
administer
payroll
• Responsible for payroll accounting and general payroll
administration
• Ensure all employees are paid in accordance to local
laws & company guidelines
• Manage talents’ weekly attendance and leave records
3. rESERVATIONS
Roles Responsibilities
1. Manage
reservations,
customers’
enquiries about
rooms or loyalty
program
• Answer, confirm & ensure all bookings are accurately
entered into property management system & filling of
reservations correspondence are done systematically
• Generate sales & handle enquiries for Starwood loyalty
program
• Liaise closely with travel agents, business houses &
general public in a professional manner
• Assist guests in hotel reservation requests
2. Ensure
updated rate
plans and
reservations are
communicated
to other
departments
• Keep Welcome desk talents informed of all matters
pertaining to rate plan or matters regarding
reservations (E.g. guest pay advance deposit)
• Ensure guest history is updated regularly
• Work closely with central reservation & sales
department on status of group reservations
• Keep up to date rooms available for sales & changes in
hotels room rates
• Maintain & update a reservation request form file
4. SALES Roles Responsibilities
1. Oversee and
direct all
aspects of sales
activities &
achieve
RevPAR-
oriented goals

• Build and maintain good relationship with key
customers (E.g. group sales)
• Work closely with Director of Sales to achieve sales
target & meeting management objectives
• Responsible to achieve highest possible room
occupancy and RevPAR
• Identify local market trends and requirements &
competitors surveys
• Prepare daily & other report when required
2. Ensure
information
about group
sales are

communicated
• Communicate with other departments on event needs
(E.g. welcome desk, finance, F&B)
• Ensure events are run smoothly from planning to
execution to post stage
