1. 4. Who would be the audience for your media product?

3. When designing and producing my magazine I had to keep this research in mind and ensure
that everything I was doing fitted the style and met the interest of my target audience. I
ensured that my music artist ‘Declan Knowles’ was modelled appropriately to fir the clothing
styles of my genre so that the audience could be related to the magazine, the hairstyle of my
artist is also clean and medium length which is a popular hairstyle amongst my target
audience. I dressed him in both a black polo shirt, and jeans and also a grey long sleeve
shirt and blue joggers. Showing both a casual relaxed look and a slightly ‘dressier’ look. I
included several different shots, of my artist and another band member, to show different
mise en scene’s as well as the different clothing and styles.
The following two audience profiles, which have a large vlogger appearance to them and fit a
lot of my target audience research and are both potential consumers of my new ‘Energy’
house music magazine.
