OBJECTIVES:
 Students should be able to identify the form
 Students should be able to modify the noun or
pronoun using adjectives.
 Students should be able to apply adjective and
form a sentence.

PROCEDURE:
 Pictorial representation and asking the students
to describe.
 A Black car
DEFINITION:
A word used with a noun to describe or point out,
the person ,animal, place or thing.
Eg: red – red rose
lazy – lazy boy
big – big tree
LIST OF ADJECTIVES :
• Present an object and ask the students to try &
attach as many objectives as possible from the list
as they can.
TYPES OF ADJECTIVES:
 Descriptive
 Quantitative
 Demonstrative
Descriptive:
These are adjectives that are used to express the
size, colour , shape of a person ,thing or animal.
Eg: Sarah has a big house.
She loves white dress.
He has a round face.
Quantitative:
A word that modifies a noun by indicating a
number/quantity is called quantitative adjective.
Eg: He has 10 pens.
She has skipped the last exam.
Demonstrative:
Demonstrative adjective are adjectives that are
used to modify a noun so that we know which
specific person , place or thing is mentioned.
Eg: This is Rima's home.
That dog is barking.
Tasks:
 Divide in to groups according to the types of
adjectives.
 Find out the adjectives from the bundle of words.
 Match the following.
TASK 2:
Find out the adjectives from bundle of words
 Pink sky
 Truth five
 Run chocolate
 Clever small
 Life beautiful
 Eat green
TASK 3:
Match the following:
1) Beautiful - song
