•Song - Fever The Ghost by Source
• Ideas
• in the style of a pop music video with shots of people
dancing and singing and has a happy tone. Cut to the
beat of the music
• The video could start happy and like a pop song but
eventually you see he is being control and it has a dark
undertone or he could break free from who he is being
control by.
• one take of a synchronised dance with multiple people
4. MUSIC VIDEO 1

• in the music video they have some good camera shots like follow
shots and zooming out shots. I would like to recreate these shots in
my music video
• The music video acts has a short story
• The props and costumes used in the music video are creative and
stand out. I might use the same idea of something standing out in my
music video
• The music video has signs with the lyrics on it
• The music video has the genre convection of shots of the band
playing

11. CONVENTIONS YOU
PLAN TO USE
• I plan to use dancing and bright colours because the
song I have pick is a pop song and the genre convictions
of a most pop song have bright colours and dancing in
them. Also I think it would go well with the song and the
music video. Also I lack of narrative.
14. SUMMARY
5 opportunities of your ideas
• being able to film in a different location
• being able to have a cast to film with
• being able to make a music video
• being able to edit the music video
• being able to use a camera to learn a new skill
15. SUMMARY
5 restrictions to your ideas
• I would like to do a drone shots but I don’t have a drone
• I would like shots with no people in them but where I am
going to film it is quite busy
• I will have limited window to film
• I would like it to be sunny but the weather for the past
week has be rain
• I would like some specific shots but my location doesn’t
have what I need
16. FINAL IDEA –
ARTIST/TITLE/INFO
Name of track / name of artist : Hunnybee by Unknown
Mortal Orchestra
Brief biographical background : Unknown Mortal
Orchestra is a Portland, Oregon-based New Zealand
psychedelic rock/pop band.
Links to other artists : none
Genre info : The band is a Rock/Pop band
17. FINAL IDEA – TRACK
SUMMARY
The track is 4:32 minutes long and the song is in the
style of psychedelic rock. I think the song is about the
end of summer and the artist doesn't’t want it to end.
The pace of the song is fast so the editing going to be
fast as well. The official music video of the song is about
a train and a person sitting on it looking out the window.
The mood of the song is happy because it's upbeat. The
structure of the song is simple and easy to remember
because it repeats the same lyrics throughout the song.
18. FINAL IDEA – YOUR IDEA
My music video is going to be filmed at Rowntrees park
and it is going to be about people dancing in random
location in the park like a pop music video. I am going to
use bright colours for the costumes and for the Corus of
the song I am going to make signs with the lyrics on
them and the people dancing will hold them up. For the
conclusion of the music video I am going to have a
animation element and the dancers walking of into the
distance.
20. TITLE OF
PRODUCTION/PRODUCTI
ON OUTLINESummary of intended production
What are you going to make and the intended outcome
My intended outcome of the music video is that it looks
professional and fits with the song. I am going to make a
pop music video with dancing and no narrative.
breakdown of the music track chosen and your
interpretation of it
The track is 4:32 minutes long and is fast paced. The mood
of the song is happy and I think the meaning of the song is
that it’s the end of summer. The structure of the song is
simple because just repeats the same lyrics.
Specific outline your intended technical/equipment
requirements
The equipment I need is a camera and a tripod to film the
music video
Include any details that you think are important
It is going to be film at Rowntrees park
21. LOCATIONS
The location I want to use is Rowntrees park in Fulford,
York. The location is walking distance of my house so
there isn’t any restriction on access or distance. Since it
is walking distance, I don’t have to pay for a bus ride and
the park is free to enter. To manage the weather I will
use the weather forecast and make sure we are filming
on a sunny day. The risks of the location are that there is
a river nearby. To make this not a risk is that we won't
film near the river. Another risk is that the river can also
get flooded if it has been raining a lot so location might
not be safe to film on if it has been raining.
22. EQUIPMENT
The equipment I need is camera
and a tripod. I can get this by going
onto blackboard and booking the
equipment out for three days and
any additional equipment I need I
can ask my tutor to see if the
college has it.
23. FACILITIES
I will edit my video in college
because the computers there have
the programs, I need to edit my
video and I don’t have them at
home. At the filming location we
don’t need any facilities because
the location has public toilets.
24. PERSONNEL
CAST: I am going to have a friend help me film the scene.
They are available on Thursdays so that when I am
planning on filming it. They live nearby as well so there
are no cost implication. There are shops near by the
filming location so if they need to be feed, we can go to
one of them.
Crew: I am going to be the crew and handle the
camera for the music video.
25. PROPS/COSTUME/ETC
Props: The props I need are signs which can be made of
cardboard with the lyrics of the song on. This will not
cost anything because cardboard is easy to find, and I
have pens at home to make the signs.
Costumes: The costumes are going to be a red hoodie.
The people that are going to be involved in the
production have red hoodies so this will not cost
anything.
27. PRE-
VISUALISATION/CONCEP
T BOARDSThe term “mise-en-scene” means the arrangement of
props and scenery in a production of a film or in this a
case a music video.
The props I am going to use are sighs made of paper or
cardboard with the lyrics of the song on them. this looks
better than people trying to match the lyrics with their
mouth and makes the audience focus on the lyrics. The
costume are going to be bright red hoodies to stand out
and to match the music.
29. PRE-
VISUALISATION/CONCEP
T BOARDS
The lighting and colour of the production are going to be bright
to create the genre convection of bright colours in music video
but also to create a feeling of happiness to match the song. I
want the lighting of the scenery to be natural to show that it’s a
sunny day and to match the lyrics of the song. The cast are going
to dressed up in bright clothing as well to stand out and to show
they are happy.
30. RIP-O-MATIC
You should also construct a 15-20second Rip-o-matic
test reel using existing footage to convey the type of
video you want to make
https://youtu.be/73WORCDA9CI
31. INTRO
The intro last of 1 minute 19 seconds. The intro has no
lyrics. I was planning on filming a field with someone
approaching from a distance for the intro. As he gets
closer you can see he is dancing to the beat of the music.
After the field shot, I am going to have a shoulder shot
which is behind the person dancing and you see a bridge
which the person is heading towards. after that, the next
shot will be of the people dancing on the bridge. Then
the camera will cut to the verse shot which will be in time
with the beat.
32. VERSE
The lyrics for the first
verse are:
Warm rain and thunder
Days are getting darker
A week is such a long time
Eras rot like nature
Age of paranoia
Don't be such a modern
Stranger, oh angel
The first verse last for 28 seconds. I was planning on filming
different areas around my location with my cast holding up signs
with the lyrics on it. The signs will have different transition for
example the camera will zoom in on one sign and it will transition
to another sign already zoomed in which then zooms out.
Another shot I am going to have is a up angle shot which will be
pointing up at the sign. The camera will focus on the sign more
than the person holding it.
33. CHORUS
The first chorus last for 33 seconds. I was planning on
doing signs with the lyrics on it like the with the verse,
but the shot will be longer and will focus on the sign and
the person holding it. The shots will be filmed in similar
palaces as the verse and will have different transitions
linking them together.
The lyrics for the
chorus are:
Honeybee, honeybee
There's no such thing
As sweeter a sting
which repeat 4 times
34. VERSE 2
The second verse last for 28 seconds
Verse 2 is going to be like verse one, but it will be filmed
in different backgrounds and will have different
transition to make the music video look less repetitive.
Lyrics for verse 2:
Of heaven, tongues are fencing
Too many leaves in the city
Careful like an orchid
Love survives forever
Age of paranoia
Don't be such a modern
Stranger, oh angel
35. CHORUS 2
The second chorus last for 35 seconds
The second chorus is also going to be like the first
chorus but this one is longer than the first one so I will
have to have more shots to make less repetitive.
Lyrics for chorus 2:
Honeybee, honeybee
There's no such thing
As sweeter a sting
Repeats 8 times
36. CONCLUSION
The conclusion last 1 minute 8 seconds
The conclusion will be shots of the cast walking off into
the distance to parallel the intro of the video and to end
the music video and leave it open to different
interpretation. The conclusion of the song is a guitar
solo which will play as the cast walk off into the distance.
The conclusion has no lyrics.

41. LOCATION INFORMATION
Information and images of your location[s] for filming
You should have address details, clearance/premissions
for filming, recce photos and floorplans [including
camera, equipment and cast/crew layouts]
Where possible, have a plan B fallback location option
Assess each location for any issues and suggest
solutions
42. LOCATIONS
This locations is suitable because it is a nice
area which has good filming opportunities.
The park is busy on weekends and after
schools are finished so avoid this, we are
going to film on a Thursday mid-afternoon,
so we can film with the park empty. Another
issues is that it's near the river which means
the river can flood if it has been raining a lot.
If the river has flooded, we will need to film
somewhere else. The location is in a public
place, so we don’t need permission to film.
The location is near where everybody lives so
we don’t have to pay for travel costs.
Rowntree Park
43. LOCATIONS
My back up location is York
college. I have chosen this because
I am here 3 days a week which
make it easy to film here and give
me plenty of time to film. The
location also has some good
filming opportunities which I can
use also the people that are going
to help are also here at college. An
issue with college is that it is all
ways busy. To solve this we need
to not film during lunch or any
break time because that is when
most people are out of class. The
people working on the music video
live nearby so there is no travel
cost.
York College
44. RISK ASSESSMENT
LOCATION: ROWNTREE PARK YORK COLLEGE
RISK: The risk at Rowntree
park is that the river
can flood which can
make it dangerous to
film there to avoid this
will we not film if the
river floods. Another
risk at Rowntree is if it
rains the ground can
become wet and
someone can fall. To
avoid this when it
rains find some cover
to hide from the rain
or walk carefully.
One risk of york
college is you could
trip over if you are not
paying attention. This
can break the camera
and you can lose your
footage. To avoid this
from happening you
can pay attention
while walking so that
you don’t hurt yourself
or your camera.
