3. Storyboard
These first four pannels are going to be the opening scene for my film it will start with a shot
angled at the sky and then will pan down to fence, I will do this to open the film and maybe I will
play music in the background to set the scene, the up angled shot will probably last 10-15 seconds
and then pan down slowly so that it will create mystery for the viewers and build tension. Then it
will switch to a side profile with a character sitting there, in the actual film I will try not to show the
characters face because it will be used as a twist for the ending, the last pannel will be a shot
where the camera follows behind the main character, this will probably last 6 seconds and in this
shot I will try not to reveal the main characters face to keep the mystery going.
4. Storyboard
After the camera following behind the main character shot it will switch to a side profile again but this
time a bit closer so that you can only see the two characters shoes and legs, I will go this so that it
creates mystery behind the characters and keep the auidence guessing what is going to happen. The
next shot will be a close up on the main character pulling a weapon up and aiming at another character.
This shot will also be a side profile and will only show the character's hand and arm and weapon, I
havent decided on what the main character is going to use as a weapon yet but in my storyboard, I
chose a pistol, but this might change in the final production. This shot will end with the weapon firing
and then the character putting the weapon to his side and then I want to do a transition were the shot
ends with the character lowering the gun to his side and then the next shot will begin with the
character with the gun to his side still but then it will zoom out and show a new location. Then the next
shot will be the main character a proaching a house door.
5. Storyboard
The next shot is the main character entering the house and then meeting up with the main bad guy of
the film, this shot will be a wide shot to show off the bad guy and his two bodyguards then the next shot
will switch to a side profile of the characters and show the main character appraoching the table and but
when he tries to pick up the money, he gets betrayed and knocked out by one of the bodyguards. I want
this scene to have no diagloue to build up the tension and I will try make the actors movement slow so
that the tension on whats going to happen is stretched out. The costumes for the bodyguards will
probably be black clothing with a black ski mask, the main characters costume will be wearing something
smart like a suit to show that they are proffesional and the bad guy will be wearing baggy clothes and a
hat to show that they don’t take thing seriously and are not that smart. I also want to do screen direction
in this scene with the good guy on the left looking right and the bad guy on the right looking left.
6. Storyboard
When the main character gets knock out the screen with fade to black or quickly turn black to show
that the he got knock out and then he wakes up on a chair and tries with one of the bodyguards there
who is getting ready to kill the main character but just at the last second the main character escapes
and pushes the gun out the way. Then the two characters tussle for a bit and then the main character
gets the weapon the bodyguard and uses it to knock him to the floor, this will be the first fight scene
of the film and I will try and make it exciting with close quarter fighting and I will do some close-up
shots to make it feel claustrophobic for the audience.
7. Storyboard
The next shot will show the guy knock out against a wall and then will go into a close up of the
bodyguard's face and then I want to do a specail effect where fake blood comes out of the back of the
head of the bodyguard. The make this special effects I will fill a plastic bag with fake blood and leave a
hole at the top of the bag and then place it between the bodyguard and the wall so when the bodyguard
presses his head against the bag it will hopefully make the effect, I want. The next shot will show the
main character heading up some stairs while showning the deadbody of the bodyguard and then when
the main character meets the second bodyguard, and this will be the second fight of the film.
8. Storyboard
The next following scenes will be the second fight scene of the film but this time the bodyguard is using
a slegdehammer and it will start with the bodyguard knocking the weapon out of the main characters
hands and then knocking him to the ground and then the bodyguard will lift up his slegdehammer to
finish off the main character, the main character kicks out the legs of the bodyguard and the bodyguard
will fall over. This fight scene will medium shots so that you can see most of the characters bodies so
that the auidence gets a good view on the fight and also might do some birs eye views for this fight
scene as well so that there is some variation in the shot types for the scene.
9. Storyboard
The next scene will be a transition that I will start with the main character putting the fake
sledgehammer close to the head of bodyguard and then it will switch to an apple getting
chopped in half but shot the same way with a side profile. Then the next will show the bad guy
cutting up the apple with another bodyguard next to him. I will do this transition so that the
audience uses their imagination and guess what happen to the bobdyguard because what is
implied with the apple getting cut in half.
10. Storyboard
This scene is a fight scene between the last bodyguard and the main character as the bad guy
runs away. The fight scene is going to start with the main character knocking the weapon out
of the bodyguard's hands and then they fight up close and I will use lots of close up shots to
show this.
11. Storyboard
The first two pannels are the ending for the fight scene and after the main character wins the
fight and he picks up a gun and chases after the bad guy which is the next scene, which is a
chase sequence which I will use long shots to show the chase, after the chase sequence is
ended the main character confronts the bad guy.
12. Storyboard
The next scene is very similar to the starting scene and will use some of the shots from the
starting scene but will also use so new shots revealing the bad guys face so that the audience
knows that the person killed at the start was the bad guy.
13. Storyboard
The last scene is the main character walking away into the distance while the
credits roll and a song plays.

15. Location 1 This is the first location I am going to film at. This location will be
used for the opening scene and the ending scene. I will film here
first so that I can do the start and the end of my film at the same
time which will save a lot of time and
help with continuity throughout the film.
16. Location 2
This is the second location I am going to film at which is my
house, This is where the fight scenes are going to happen
and were most of the film is going to be set because it’s an
easy location to access aspecailly if I am using my family
members as the actors for my film.
17. Poster Planning
This a concept poster for my film. I will put the
title at the top off the poster and then have the
main character at the front with an explosion
behind the main character. The main character
will also be holding a gun to show that this an
action film the explosion also shows that it’s an
action film, this poster is inspired by the first
john wick poster because its similar in a few
places with the main character at the front and
both the main character have a weapon in his
hand. The title will also have some contrasting
colours to make it stand out.
