appropriate.

• Encourage feedback.

Effective communication

  • 7. Active listeners Sender • State one idea at a time. • State ideas simply. • Explain when appropriate. • Repeat if appropriate. • Encourage feedback. • Read between the lines.
  • 8. Active listeners Receiver Feedbacks: • Focus attention on the message • Nonverbal communication • Keep an open mind and suspend judgment. • Don’t assume. • Provide the sender feedback. • Acknowledgment. • Parroting - repeating • Paraphrasing
