5. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Recorder could be broken Find another way to record e.g. Mobile phone. Another
way to do it could also be text to speech.
Recording could get lost or be deleted Make sure to save in more than place so that if it gets
deleted from one place so you still have the recording
elsewhere.
Audio may not be picked up Make sure that the recorder is set up in a suitable place
and do a test recording to make sure everything is all
working.
Background noise Go somewhere quiet when recording where there is no
people so that you do not get noise in the background to
ruin the audio. Do a test recording before to double
check.
6. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Volume to loud Keeping the volume at a comfortable level for
you to stop headaches or hurting ears.
Liquid near equipment Keep all liquids away from the Audio recorder
to stop the risk from breaking the equipment.
Back ache Sitting at the computer whilst editing can cause
back ache make sure to take breaks to stop this
from happening.
Headache Looking at the computer can cause your eyes to
strain causing head aches take breaks from your
computer.
