Objective.
To make an application for a University to continue with my studies of Creative Media.
Skills & Abilities
I am very good at communicating with others. I have had experience with dealing with clients and
customers in both of my weekend jobs where I was expected to make conversation with a wide range
of age groups, deal with demanding customers and placate complaints.
I am happy to work as a team member and can take direction easily. I currently work in a team of 10
and together we contribute to the smooth running of the shop.
I am also able to work independently using my own initiative and can make decision as to when
things need to be done in a timely and effective manner.
Experience
Saturday Girl – [Peluqueria Hairdressers]
Working at the hairdressers has helped my confidence grow hugely, which has
given me the ability to talk to anyone and make conversation easily. Another
skill I've acquired from this job is customer service, enabling me to stay calm
and solve any problem/ challenge I am faced with.
Team Member – [Pret A Manger]
Front of house staff, selling goods to members of the public, keeping areas
clean and tidy, this gives me the opportunity to communicate with customers,
solving problems, dealing with money and using my own initiative to keep the
shop stocked and clean.

Leadership
Whilst in school I completed my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh awards, during this I was able to take
charge of a group of pupils and direct them whilst on a camping expedition.
I was a member of the CCF (combined cadet force) and this involved me having to take charge of a
group of cadets during training sessions.
In upper school I was the team captain for both rounders and netball teams and had responsibility for
organising the teams for each match.
