This was a temporary position, I took this job because I needed the experience. I am currently
studying events in my own time and also hosting events when I can. I covered all aspects of event

myself, ordered PR Equipment when required, I also shopped around for new venues, etc. On event
nights I had to keep on top of all workers whilst making sure the full night goes as planned. I also
worked with kids of the school in this time, these kids had learning difficulties and also behavioral
difficulties.

I worked within a busy warehouse packing magazines and newspapers to be distributed to local

Events Organiser but unfortunately things didn’t go to plan and I have been forced to put the business
on hold.
Bridge of Weir Leatherworks (AllStaff),. Bridge of Weir
(March 2014 to Current)
I started in the cutting department of Bridge of Weir Leather were I began by auditing which was
checking the leather for any scars, contamination etc. I then went on to working the tables were we
would lay knifes onto the leather and put it through a large presser which would cut the required
shapes, after some time on the tables I was moved onto marking which was checking the hides for
any faults and marking them with chalk to make it easier for the people on the tables, the white chalk
showed the areas to be avoided. The work in the cutting department then dried up and I was paid off;
now I am currently working in a different department named Baltic 2, In here I am on the finish line
where I feed hides through a large machine whilst cleaning them which stains the hides with pigment
to meet the required colour.
