I am you writing this letter to apply for a job position within your organization. I am holding of
Master of Science in Business Economics focusing in global business and a Bachelor of Science
in accounting. I did my studies at the City University of New York respectively Brooklyn
College and Lehman College in the United States. I love accounting along with anything that
involves analyzing financial statements for strategic decision making to the success of an
organization. I speak French English and Wolof.
Back in the United States, I worked in a café where I was the assistant manager and barista. New
York being the most diverse place in the world, I met people from different background with
whom I was able to work and live with. The café I worked at is located in the Upper East Side of
Manhattan next to Hunter College, a very busy neighborhood. High quality customer service was
the key to have people come back on their next coffee break. This was not easy during rush
hours but I learned to multitask and be calm under pressure in order to give the best quality
service possible.
My experience in New York taught me that nothing is impossible and that only hard work pays. I
am a fast learner and know how to prioritize tasks. I strive for success and growth. I used to work
full time, ran track and field and went to school at the same time. I can multitask and can easily
adapt to new environment. I am ready to learn and be among one of those who will be part to the
success of your organization.
