Skills Profile
Team Working
Throughout the past nine years I have constantly worked as part as a team whilst at
times working on my own. Within the team we work together to move stock around
and create new shop displays while also helping each other with whereabouts of
stock and helping customers. In high pressure situations where a member has been
injured I have been able to work as part of a team to make sure that person got the
best and fastest care possible.
Communication
I have been fortunate enough to pick up communication skills in my part-time job and
also in education. I am able to listen to the customers’ needs or a fellow student’s
needs and respond appropriately to what they are looking for. I am able to respect a
colleges opinion even if I don’t agree with it and respect a lecturer by making sure I
respond to emails appropriately.
Commercial awareness
Within my part time job, I have been able to develop a commercial awareness skill. I
am able to identify our key competitors, plan when we need more/ less staff and
understand the customers’ needs to the business industry in which I work in.
