What is Campus Recruitment?
• Campus Recruitment or Campus Placement has become a
popular and commonly used method for selecting personnel
in an organization.
• In Campus Recruitment, Companies/Corporate visit some of
the most important Technical and Professional Institutes in an
attempt to hire young intelligent and smart students at
source.
• The most significant fact about Campus Recruitment is that
instead of the job seekers approaching employers, the
employers come to the most suitable candidate with a job
offer.
• It is common practice for Institute today to hire a Placement
Officer who coordinates with small, medium and large sized
companies and helps in streaming the entire campus
recruitment procedure.
• While most of us are hardworking, intelligent, diligent, well
qualified and have strong subject knowledge.
• However, when it comes to final campus placements, it is not
these STRIVERS who crack the first jobs.
• The FILTERS these days are shifting towards General Aptitude,
Group Discussion and Interviews.
• Corporates understand that students may not be expert in the
subject matter and they are not even looking for highly
qualified students as theory learnt during college days and
practical methodologies followed by corporate are two
completely different worlds.
• However, corporate believes that if the students can
communicate with his boss if he/she can communicate within
the group and has an overall higher level of aptitude.

What is Campus Recruitment? • Campus Recruitment or Campus Placement has become a popular and commonly used method for selecting personnel in an organization. • In Campus Recruitment, Companies/Corporate visit some of the most important Technical and Professional Institutes in an attempt to hire young intelligent and smart students at source. • The most significant fact about Campus Recruitment is that instead of the job seekers approaching employers, the employers come to the most suitable candidate with a job offer.
  • 3. • It is common practice for Institute today to hire a Placement Officer who coordinates with small, medium and large sized companies and helps in streaming the entire campus recruitment procedure. • While most of us are hardworking, intelligent, diligent, well qualified and have strong subject knowledge. • However, when it comes to final campus placements, it is not these STRIVERS who crack the first jobs. • The FILTERS these days are shifting towards General Aptitude, Group Discussion and Interviews.
